I Have a Home...Maybe..Sorta...Not sure...

So I am very hopeful about a room situation in San Diego. I am hoping I have a leased signed by the end of the week but ya never know. It is the neighborhood and area I want to live in...Pacific Beach and specifically the Crown Point area. This probably means nothing to the majority unless you randomly know about San Diego neighborhoods. It is where the young 20 somethings live...a lot of college kids as well as people my age and everything in between and even some working professionals. It is close to the bay, ocean, and lots of places to walk Roxie and enjoy the year round warm weather San Diego has to offer. The condo is newly redone with granite countertops, tile in the bathroom, and decorated nicely. The girl who lives there is 27 and sells beer for a living...how could we not get along right? ha And most importantly...the owner allows dogs!! WOO HOO!! So I have been talking to the owner and I'm good to go with her so now it is just chatting with the girl who already lives there and hoping it all works out. The rent is GREAT...when I say great I mean by San Diego standards...it is practically the amount my mortgage was on my large townhome buuuuuutt you do pay for your environment and the cost of living is always higher in the more desirable places to live of course (i.e. San Fran, Hawaii, NYC etc.) So cross your fingers for me because the housing hunt has been quite stressful....

It's been a week since I got back from my visit to San Diego and it's been fun just hanging around with friends and family. I hit the ground running of course trying to squeeze in as much as I possibly can in the last few weeks. Bday dinner with work girls, out with my girls Tracy and Kris of course, pedicure and shopping with a friend from college, a family 4th of July, pool days, lake time, a friends' wedding this Saturday! And of course next week I will be off to Seattle for nearly a week. Hoping to see and do a lot more this trip up there. I went about a year and a half ago right before Christmas and got stuck in the worst snow storm that had hit the area in 20 years! I had never seen so much snow and I almost didn't make it home for Christmas! So apparently summers are fabulous in Seattle with mild temperatures anywhere from the mid 60's to low 80's. Sooo excited to head back out to the West Coast and of course spend time with Tracy and her family.

I probably should be packing, getting organized, and be a little more concerned with my move...but for some reason...I just assume when it needs to get done...it will!
