Good To Be Home

It has been a whirl wind visit to say the least! I can't believe I have already been home for 4 days because they have gone by so insanely fast!

I left San Diego on a rainy and dreary weekend...little did I know the rain would continue and we would have crazy storms, mudslides, and flooding. I turned on the TV for the first time today so I was clueless. I had a few friends text and ask me about it...hilarious I had no clue. Great time to be home visiting I guess :)

I took the redeye and landed early on Monday morning. My mom picked me up and I headed to my Gran's for a quick shower and to grab the car. Then it was dentist appointment, surprising my friends Dobbin and Kris with coffee at their house, lunch with an old coworker and then a family dinner at my mom's.

Tuesday was haircut/color, drinks at Cheeky with old coworkers, and then off to Kris and Dobbins for a lovely get together of some of my favorite people! We chatted, drank, danced, laughed and I stayed up until 7am! YIKES! But it was sooooo worth it and made me realize what wonderful and dear friends I have.

Wednesday was a lazy day spent lounging around Kris' house in pajamas. We napped and were bums. I headed to Tracy's for the night and we had a few other friends over and just chatted and spent some time with her adorable kids. Played several games of Wii with her son...good times!

Today was spent doing a little shopping in the morning with Tracy's daughter, visiting with the Salley family (cutest, sweetest, most well behaved 2.5 and 1 year old I have EVER encountered), checked out Regan's family's new house, shopped a little, dropped by my Gran's, and finally made it up to my mom's for the night. I feel like the energizer bunny but I am so, so glad I have been able to see so many people in such a brief visit. The next few days will be full of family time and I am really looking forward to that. Sunday is brunch with the Woxlands, Dob and Kris etc. and then hanging out with my girls Vicki, Syd, and Regan.

WOW...I will be headed back West before I know it.

I called to check on Roxie as well as watched her play on the web cams for a bit tonight. She is overall...doing well. A little rough play with a another pup but they told me it is nothing they haven't seen before. I can't wait to see her again!!!
