Gosh...been a little while since I really blogged or caught up. Well I have to say this past week has 100% solidified the move to Cali because of weather. While my dear family and friends spent nearly a week "iced/snowed in" aka trapped in their houses I have been enjoying a lovely warm spell of 75 degree days in mid January...nope...no typo there folks. I even got a little sun burned at the dog park the other day. Love it. My former coworkers just had 5 days in a row of no school...insane! I was jealous the first few days as I saw updates on FB of sleeping in, drinking, having lazy days by the fire and of course all the gorgeous snowy white photos that were being uploaded by the minute. However, I have to say it was quite amusing and entertaining to read the daily status updates on day 3, day 4, day 5...let's just say cabin fever set in with most and I was worried about a few people's mental well being. I guess there are only so many movies to watch, so many board games to be played etc. So while I think ATL is finally thawing out I am sure the "Blizzard of 2011" will be talked about for years to come. Kinda sad I missed out on the memories but I think I will get over it ;)Anyway...more to share but considering the sun is shining and I have a pup who wants to get to the dog park that is all for now. 2011 is starting off just wonderfully and I am excited to see where it goes....
