Let's Catch Up

So here it is the beginning of March and I am itching to break out the flip flops. Okay, that is a lie...if you know me, work with me, or see me on a regular basis you know the odds of seeing me wear flip flops in mid January are about the same as me wearing them in July. Not sure if that is denial or simply poor judgement...but at least it encourages me to keep a pedicure year round :)

So let's play a little catch up in case there are a few people who have no clue what is going on with me and my life (well...so called life).

I had been toying around with the idea of selling my house. On a whim, with some thought but not much and maybe the influence of a few glasses of red wine I decided I would place it on the market. Who sells a townhouse in a recession in a less than desirable suburban town right? Well...apparently I do. A mere 30 days later and with only 2 people looking at the place...it was SOLD! Excited, nervous, pumped, stressed, confused, and anxious sums up about every feeling that went through my mind and body. It was simply too good to be true. So I quickly packed up (with the help of fabulous friends and family) and moved out of my first house (tear). It was a good home for 4 years and filled with great memories but yes..it was time to go. So long Sugar Hill...maybe we will meet again when I have a husband and 2.5 kids! ha

I was lucky enough to move in to my brother's vacant rental condo right down the road from where I grew up. I am so lucky! I couldnt imagine moving in with family after living on my own since I left for college...God love them but..NO WAY. So Roxie (oh yeah...also another spur of the moment decision...I got a dog) moved into a 3 bedroom condo on a snowy weekend in February (stressful much?). It is about half the size of my old place so you can imagine how crowded it is. I lovingly call it "Storage Unit 613". It literally looks like I took a storage unit and threw a couch in the middle. But we are slowly getting settled....

So now the job hunt is on!! It is between Florida or SoCal (San Diego) so here goes nothing...crossing my fingers I find a job as wonderful as the one I will be leaving and hoping I find a job as easy and effortlessly as I sold my house. Everything has fallen into place so perfectly thus far I am just keeping faith it will all continue...
