Ice/Snow Day in Atlanta.....Yuck!

This week is flying by!! YAY! I planned to take it easy but of course have stayed busy...Taco Tuesday with a friend on well...obviously Tuesday and then softball game last night and out with the team afterwards. The plan for tonight is hopefully to bake some yummy cookies for my coworkers and the awesome janitor at work who cleans up after our messy kids and even tosses a football with them every now and again...he is amazing! Friday is out with friends for a birthday and I am swearing that I am not doing anything Saturday or Sunday so I can be nice and rested for Atlanta.

I will land at 6am and hit the ground running! My mom is sweet enough (truly...she is a saint) to come and grab me at the airport. This requires her to get up about 4am to do so and trek all the way from Jefferson...seriously...I don't deserve a Mom this great. She will drop me at my Gran's where I will pick up the Escalade for the week (again..amazing family with an extra car so I have freedom during my visit) and I will book it to the dentist. Only I would book a dentist appt. within hours of taking the redeye from the West coast...buuuuut...it was the only appointment they had and I am quite the tooth snob. Plus I love my dentist and refuse to find one out here. ha Then headed to brunch with an old friend/coworker who lives in the area. I will be exhausted Monday and jet lagged for sure.

Tuesday I am excited to see some of my favorite people in the world. Haircut and color with the amazing Reeves...lots of time to chat and catch up :) Drinks with Vito (well she won't be partaking) because is 7 1/2 months preggars and I have yet to see the baby bump so I am sooo excited to see how adorable she looks, Tracy and Theresa will also join us...such great friends and former coworkers that actually make me miss my old job. Then off to Kris' for more reunions with some of the funniest (and perhaps loudest) girls I know. Maria, Jody, Shanda, Sunshine, Regs...who knows who else. I am almost looking forward to this more than Christmas....just kidding!

Also on the list for the visit home is a day trip to Charlotte to see my relatives, spending time with Gran of course, cooking/baking and listening to Christmas music with my mom, seeing some high school friends, visiting with the Salley family and loving on some precious girls Piper and Hayden, and the Eriksen crew and seeing adorable Eliana. I feel like I need a personal assistant to coordinate all of this and map out the quickest and fastest routes. haha

Come on Sunday...get here fast because I am ready for the ATL rain, sleet, ice or snow :)
