My First Trip for 2012

As 2011 comes to an end here shortly I am reflecting a little bit...it has been a great year! It started off with my brother visiting me in San Diego, then my girls Tracy and Maria came in April, my Mom in May, I headed home and to NC in July, I headed to OR and WA in August, my cousin came in September, my Mama Dupee in October, Jake was back in November and boom here we are in December! Between visitors and traveling myself...it was a GREAT year!

I will head home for my last trip of 2011 for 2 weeks in the good ole ATL. Although this doesn't really count as a vacation since it is my hometown and for the holidays...none the less it is exciting to hop on a plane, stay busy with friends and family and enjoy a change of scenery for a bit. Crossing my fingers it is a mild Winter Break in the South...I just don't do well with the frigid Winter temperatures anymore...a true SoCal brat I have become :)

All that to say...I have just booked my first trip for 2012. I will be heading to San Francisco Jan. 19th-23rd with my SoCal friend Jen. Excited to get back to one of my ALL time favorite cities and see some friends while there. It is gonna be a blast! Great food, so much culture, and just good times. 2012 will be full of trips I hope...several back to ATL for weddings, babies etc. but hopefully more exciting trips like the tropics, Utah, Hawaii, etc. You name it...and most likely I kinda want to go there :)
