Man...every time I visit home it seems to go by so, so fast. What an amazing visit for the holidays. I can't possibly summarize everything I did and everyone I saw but here is a quick run down. Family time of hanging with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Gran, and of course my Mom and brother. Great home cooked meals, fun lunches and dinners at some of my favorite places, checking out the High Museum of Art, movies, painting with my Mom, courtside tickets to a Hawks basketball game with my brother, dinner with friends, STS9 concert with my friend Shanda, her husband, and Jake with backstage/VIP passes and meeting the band, a wonderful NYE with some of my all time favorite people in the world, time spent drinking and laughing at Kris and Dobbin's house (my all time 3rd wheel status continues and I love it!), meeting my friends' baby for the first time, seeing the sweet Salley fam, and the list goes on and on, and on. I am seriously so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family to visit when I come home. They always make my visits so fun! And somehow...I still managed to miss out on seeing a few people I really wanted to :(
Hoping for a smooth flight home (typing from the ATL airport) and then getting the pup in the morning (man do I miss the beach and Rox), catching up on some much needed sleep, and gearing up for an exciting January trip to San Francisco!
Here is to kicking off 2012!
