We had a blast on Catalina this past weekend. Such a cute, quiet, beautiful island off the coast of Cali. There are minimal cars ( most people drive around on golf carts), quant hotels tucked in the hills, endless sail boats, palm trees, beautiful clear water and just the laid back island lifestyle. I kept having to remind myself that I was still in the US at times. We did an incredible hike that gave us some of the prettiest views I have ever seen.
I like camping. I should do it more often. Being able to see stars and get some fresh air is always good for the soul.
Mom arrives a week from today...I need to catch up on some sleep this week that's for sure!
