Palm Springs here I (we) come! I am so excited to head to Palm Springs with my mom for a fabulous Mother's Day weekend! Flights from Atlanta to SD are at an all time low right now ($339 direct on Delta FYI) and Palm Springs has been on both of our lists of places we want to go! Finally, I found a place my mom has never been! So the flight is booked, the hotel is booked, and now the countdown will begin. As an adult I realize what a wonderful Mom I have and though I will never be able to repay her for all she has done for me...I can surely try :)

Also, the countdown until Tracy and Maria come has begun as well. 25 days and counting!!! Please, please go by super, super fast!!!

This past weekend was a mostly wonderful sprinkled with a little not so great! On my way home from work I was in a fender bender( not my fault) and luckily no one was hurt and my car isn't damaged too badly. It just kind of put a damper on my night and I canceled plans for Happy Hour with friends because my back and neck were kinda sore and I was just annoyed. Saturday was gorgeous and warm so I hit up the dog park with Rox and then headed out with my friend Alicia downtown to meet some friends on a Pub Crawl. We ended up veering from the pub crawl and doing our own thing...a little shopping and then trying out a new bar/gastropub downtown. We ended up meeting two British guys and hanging with them most of the night! Who doesn't looooooooooove an accent?!?

Sunday was off to brunch with the Brits in PB and then I headed to an hour long massage that I had bought on Groupon! It was fabulous and as with every time I get a massage...I find myself asking why I don't do it more often??!?

This week is a rather chill one...bowling, Mardi Gras, and work...nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary.....Happy Monday!
