Reading, Dreaming, and Always Thinking

I over analyze everything. I think things to death if they are important to me. I also know how to take it easy and let things come my way. The older I get...the more and more I like myself and my personality. It is truly mine. I am not like my Mom, my Dad, or my brother. Not really sure where I came from...I am sarcastic, funny, simple but yet complex, sensitive but rarely show it. A quick temper at times. My Mom always said I was and continue to be the entertainment of the family. I take this as a compliment :)

I have been reading a lot lately and started a great book called The Art of Non-Conformity. It. Is. Amazing. I have been jotting down some notes and quotes as I read it. A few that have really resonated with me:

"Ask yourself what's the worst that could happen?"--helps put big decisions in perspective.

Why do people do what other people expect them to do instead of what they really want?

If you are not happy with the way something is done, you don't have to accept it.

Take your life into your own hands and what happens? A terrible thing---you have no one to blame.

Don't just escape from something; escape to something.

This book has me thinking and dreaming more than usual....which is a great thing!
