A Productive Day!

So eventually I won't be blogging everyday...let's be honest..my life is minimally interesting on my best day. But I figured I would keep it up until my mom leaves on Saturday as we will be busy doing stuff and my brother arrives on Wednesday.

Today we got up bright and early to head to Lowe's for paint and supplies. Well we also noticed IKEA was right next door so we popped over and went ahead and bought my dresser and comforter. Then...on the way back we saw a mattress store...went in and ordered it and it will be delivered tomorrow! We also enjoyed eating lunch at Subway and eating outside. That's right at noon in August we ate outside and did not break a sweat. Peeeeeeeeeeerfection!

We painted my room and it is a cheerful blue. I used to hate blue but I wanted something beachy and bright! It looks great but will take some getting used to I think. We also put together the dresser. I am excited to finally have my room put together tomorrow. We will still need to hit up Target (Tv and odds and ends) and Bed, Bath, and Beyond but I think by tomorrow night we will be good to go!

My roommate was working from home part of today so we got to chat some more with her which was nice. We will take it easy tonight and relax at the hotel before another busy day tomorrow. Still on tap for this week is the beach, the zoo, and a Padres game!
