A perfect day on the water Saturday. Yes, we all talk about how wonderful the weather here is and it really is. But there are days when it is even better than normal...Saturday we got one of those days. Blue, blue skies... temperatures hovering 80 and sunshine all around. We had an absolute BLAST on the boat! Such a great crew of 8 of us, lots of yummy food, beer, wine, and just taking in the sites of one of the prettiest cities...so cool to see it from the water. I think it was the best way to send Jake off...although after a day like that...who in the world would want to leave San Diego for Houston!??! We then headed to the beach for a bonfire, some s'mores, and fireworks. I feel like I say this a lot...but probably one of my favorite weekends ever in San Diego...they truly just get better and better. Today is another hot and sunny one...the pool, dog beach, and a good book are all calling my name.
