Palm Springs Girls Weekend = Success!!

What an awesome weekend in Palm Springs! We couldn't have asked for better weather, better company, or a better time! We headed out in 2 groups from San Diego on Friday as some were lucky enough to get off early from work (me...not so much!) We got there around 9pm, had some drinks at the apartment we were staying at and then hit the town! We spent our night at a great bar where they had live music and lots of people...I even danced which is a rarity for me that's for sure! Saturday was spent with a coffee and breakfast run and then relaxing poolside with books and a plethora of mindless magazines. A yummy Mexican dinner Saturday night followed by wine and hours upon hours of Catchphrase (yes...we are getting so old that Friday night was enough going on...this nearly 28 year old body doesn't quite bounce back like it used to). Sunday was another pool day before heading back to San Diego. So nice to get away for the weekend, get a change of scenery and have some great bonding time with the ladies. Many laughs and memories to look back on for sure!

Busy week ahead as I have Mama Dupee in town. Headed out bright and early tomorrow to take her to the San Diego zoo and visit for a bit before heading to work. Hopefully I have Tuesday off to hang out with her as well and again on Wednesday. Love, love having visitors :) Thursday is the birthday...crossing my fingers the conditions are right for me to go para-gliding in the morning!
