As with most trips and when having fun...my trip to Houston flew by waaaay too fast! I got in around lunchtime on Friday. The weather was beautiful so Jake and I headed to a cute neighborhood called Rice Village (near Rice University) for lunch and a beer on an outdoor patio. It was nice to chat and catch up...sure do miss having him in San Diego. Most of the weekend was spent much like this....patios, beer, bars, laughing, football...then repeat. Great times. I couldn't have gotten more pleasant weather or a better visit with my dear friend. A busy week this week and then Jake arrives Friday for 10 days of what I am sure will be more laughs, friends, patios, and beer. Hard to believe 2011 is quickly coming to an end...looking forward to Thanksgiving and then of course heading home for the holidays. Cheers!
